I enjoyed this book. I love how they blame their no-good-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather for their misfortunes. I feel that's how our society is. Nobody can accept fault, it's always somebody else. We're going to rent the movie and let the kids watch it. Should be fun.
This book really parallels the movie. It was fun to read and did teach a few lessons about taking responsibility. I am trying to encourage dad to read it because I think he would like it also.
