I know. I'm an overachiever! I just finished this book and I enjoyed it. There were many parts that made me think and appreciate what I have now. My favorite quote from the book: "...every day was the same, and when each day is the same as the next, it's because people fail to recognize the good things that happen in their lives every day that the sun rises." I am guilty of this. As a mom, I feel like I do the same thing every day and this line made me think about how I take things for granted. I know TJ and I are greatly blessed and I appreciate each day we have together with our family. Good pick Margaret! It's a great book.
This was an amazing book and has definitely changed my life for the better. I 100 percent agree with what Wendi said. I love how there are references to the Savior in it. I am also a helpless romantic and I loved how he described his love for Fatima. I had to read it to Zann. It's 100 percent true when he said over and over again "Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also". That's scripture. I loved the story line. Great choice mom.
I enjoyed this book the second time through better than the first. It reminded me again of what is most important--it is so easy to get side-tracked in my busy life.
