The Count of Monte Cristo

by: Alexandre Dumas. This is TJ's pick. It is a longer one, but is good. We've both read it before, and we're working on re-reading it. We hope you like it. - Wendi P.S. The one we are reading is the abridged version. The real one is like 1100 pages. If you're ambitious, go for it! :)

I read this book again and I did enjoy it as much as I did the first time. I like how Edmond's attitude changes and he realized the pain he causes as he seeks his revenge. It's hard, but it's better to let those angry feelings of revenge go. (I know, I know. I'll forgive our graffiti artists). :)

I have never read this book before. I am not going to lie, I don't know how I feel. I hate how he gets revenge. He learns a valuable lesson though that he went too far. I kind of hoped that he was going to end up with Mercedes. She should have waited for him even if she thought he was dead. It reminded me of Princess Bride. I would read this book again though.

I enjoyed reading this book. I read part of it in the full length then finally got the smaller version or I don't think I would have finished it. There were a lot of characters to keep straight but I did enjoy the book and would probably reread it. (this is Margaret)
